"Sooooo happy to have stayed at Hotel AWA"

Our 4 day stay at Hotel AWA was perfect. We were treated to expert guided excursions each day, which was for us a highlight. The waitstaff in the dining room were so warm and welcoming. We found the dining options to be very tasty and of high quality. Our Villa room opened up to the lake and the volcano, and the weather was great. What more can I say? Don't hesitate to visit.

"A warm welcome, stunning setting and wonderful place to stay"

We stayed at Hotel AWA for three nights as part of our trip around Chile. From the moment we arrived we absolutely loved the place: the team was very warm and welcoming and the hotel itself is stunning. It's furnished in a stylish yet homely way and you can see the love poured into it by the owners. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bar area cosy like your own sitting room (except looking out onto a beautiful lake and a spectacular volcano). One of my favourites for anyone wanting to explore the Chilean Lakes and Northern Patagonia.

"Superb boutique hotel, highly recommend"

A superb boutique hotel situated on the lakeside with stunning view of the volcano. It is well positioned for access to the Volcano and other attractions in the area. The hotel has a very good restaurant and bar, the staff are extremely polite and helpful, and the rooms (space, bathroom, bed, fittings) are excellent. After a three night stay we really didn't want to leave. Well done AWA. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

"Wonderfully appointed hotel with a friendly team and outstanding view"

The view from the bedroom is stunning. The whole hotel has a very contemporary feel and we slept well. It is a perfect location for exploring The Lakes, close enough to Puerto Varas and far enough away to be peaceful. The hotel arranged a day's fishing for us and a local guide took us on the Desolation Pass walk, which was excellent.

"Hotel room on the 4th floor with great view and fireplace"

What a great experience it was. Great room with a fireplace in it. Great service and the hikes we did were really good. I booked the all inclusive and it was worth it. Really a top hotel. The team was so friendly and helpful, and the packed lunches were great. I will come back for sure, and book the all inclusive again. If you don't book it for the room, do it for the excursions: they are tailor made and I travelled by myself with no issue at all.

"Fantastic hotel to relax and tour"

We had a superb time at Hotel AWA. We had originally booked for 4 nights but extended to 5 not long after checking in as we loved the place. Beautiful setting on the lake with views of the volcano, fantastic bedrooms and bathrooms, just our style. The restaurant was lovely and food excellent. AWA has an outstanding excursion service with loads of options: national park visits, boat trip and the hot springs were all fantastic. All of the team at the hotel were lovely and helped make our stay amazing.

"Lovely hotel"

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting on the lake with modern, interesting architecture. The rooms are very comfortable and large. We had a terrific view of the lake and a fireplace in the room. The team has been terrific, the food has been excellent. We enjoyed a massage and took advantage of the spa. They were helpful in suggesting excursions in the area. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Puerto Varas, which made it a peaceful location and closer to hiking and waterfalls.

"A day of pure relaxation"

I went for a day because a friend visiting from the US wanted to see Puerto Varas and this is the spot he chose. It's a place where you feel like the most important guest at every moment: they asked about allergies and intolerances, and made sure everything they offered was adapted to that. They have airport transfers, bicycles and plenty of activities if the weather allows.

"Faultless"

Difficult to know where to start. The design is amazing, which is no surprise as the owners are architects and interior designers. The room was amazing, the layout perfect and the views unbelievable. Showering in the massive rain shower whilst looking at Osorno Volcano was special. The team was very friendly and clearly loved working there. The excursions, restaurant and spa were all top class. All round faultless. We didn't want to leave.

"Beautiful!"

Everything at AWA was stunning. The views were amazing and the hotel felt like a sea of tranquillity while we were there. The team went above and beyond, staying late to discuss excursion options and making it very easy to get room service or eat in the restaurant after lunch. The room had an amazing view and was equipped with everything we might need. The food on site was excellent and felt local and fresh.

"Best hotel experience"

By far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It easily surpasses even the top ranked hotels in Santiago. We arrived late on the first day and they kindly waited for us, helped with the luggage and even checked whether we'd had a chance to eat. Room service is excellent. Everything is perfect: the bed, the beautiful view of the lake, the heating, lovely turndown touches. First class, gourmet food. I would absolutely return. Infinitely grateful to the whole team. 10/10.
