A culinary adventure where you’ll visit a traditional local market, explore our organic garden, and harvest fresh ingredients for your cooking class.
The journey begins early in the morning with a one-hour drive to Angelmó or Calbuco, where we will select fresh, local ingredients from the market to use in our cooking class.
Back at Hotel AWA, we will embark on a 500-meter walk through our grounds, passing by one of the largest photovoltaic plants in Patagonia, before arriving at our organic garden. Here, you’ll receive a brief introduction to permaculture, biointensive gardening, and our sustainable production system.
Next, you’ll participate in a harvesting experience, collecting fresh produce directly from the garden.
The day concludes with a hands-on cooking class at Villa AWA, where you’ll prepare dishes using the freshly harvested ingredients, bringing out the best of local flavors.
